Completed academic education in mathematics, statistics or economics (with preferably above-average grades); willingness for a research stay at Xiamen University (People's Republic of China) of at least six months; very good command of English (proved by TOEFL or IELTS certificate, except if your native language is English or if you have earned a previous university degree from an English speaking programme; please refer to the institution code: 8167, department code: 84); GRE would be advantageous
